I've tried so many programs before - how do I know this one will actually work?
Unlike generic weight loss programs, the Balanced40+ Program is specifically designed for women over 40. It works because it's based on the science of hormone balance, not just calories in vs. calories out.
I'm crazy busy - I don't have time for complicated meal prep or hours of cooking!
Me neither! This program was created for busy women, by a busy woman! The meal plans are simple, efficient, and family-friendly.
Many meals can be prepared in 30 minutes or less, and you'll get shortcuts and time-saving tips throughout. Plus, you can repeat meals you enjoy - there's no rule saying you have to cook something different every day.
What if I have dietary restrictions or food intolerances?
All recipes in the program are gluten-free and most are cow's dairy-free. Plus, you'll easily be able to adapt any recipe to suit your needs. For example, if you can't tolerate eggs, you can swap this meal for another - there are many to choose from!

Is this just another restrictive diet that will leave me feeling hungry all the time?
Absolutely not! You'll be eating three satisfying meals per day that include plenty of real, whole foods.
This isn't about deprivation - it's about nourishing your body with the right foods in the right portions to optimise your hormones. Many women report feeling more satisfied and having fewer cravings within the first week.
I'm already in menopause - is this still right for me?
Yes! Whether you're in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, this program will help. The principles of hormone balance and metabolic health apply throughout all these stages and we include education on all stages too.
How much weight will I lose in the first 3 months?
This program is not about promising how much weight you can lose in one month. It's designed to show you how & what to eat so you lose weight in a healthy way, over longer period of time, and how to maintain that healthy weight.
That said, most of the women I work with release 0.5 - 2kg per week eating the way I teach.
What if I have an underactive thyroid or other hormone condition?
The program is actually ideal for women with thyroid issues or hormone imbalances (I have Hashimoto's hypothyroid so I get it!)
The meal plans are designed to support thyroid health and hormone balance naturally. However, we always recommend keeping your healthcare provider informed about any dietary changes, especially if you're on medication.
I'm in my 60s or 70s - can I do this program?
Yes, you sure can! I've worked with women in their 60s and 70s extensively over my 15 years as a nutritionist & naturopath and the same principles apply. This program is perfect for you.
Is this Keto
No, it's not Keto. Keto is VERY low carb (under 30g per day) but the recipes in this program are low-moderate carbohydrate (60-150g carbs per day) so that we can get your body burning fat (via the impact this has on insulin - I give you a Nutrition 101 course inside the program, so you'll understand how this works!)
This is a more sustainable way to lose weight, and for women it's important to have more carbs than what Keto allows, as they are needed for healthy hormones.
I have helped so many women who were strictly Keto (but NOT healthy or happy!) to include more carbs in their diet and lose more weight.
I am vegetarian or vegan, is this program for me?
The short answer is no, it's not suitable.
The meals are designed to support hormonal, metabolic & gut health and mostly consist of animal proteins & veggies. While there are some vegetarian recipes, it's hard to get adequate protein on this type of weight loss plan if you are vegetarian (we don't have a lot of grains or legumes because of the bloating & digestive issues so many perimenopausal & hormonal women experience).
And it's impossible if you're vegan.
I can support vegetarians privately in my clinical practice, where I have time to customise meal plans - but this program unfortunately would be too hard for you to adapt on your own. Feel free to email me.
Is the price really worth it?
Consider this: many women spend more than this each month on supplements and diet products that don't work because they're not nearly as impactful as actual food!

Yes! We help women from all over the world. You might need to source different brands to those I share in one of the guides, but that's as easy as a quick google search.
